LC Singh is a distinguished alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. A pioneer in the field of information technology, he performed key roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At the time of leaving the company, he was the Senior Vice President, in charge of operations for UK, South Africa and Middle East. In addition, he also looked after marketing, public relations and brand building.

He briefly worked with Zensar Technologies as President and CEO. He founded Nihilent in 2000. In a short span of few years, Nihilent has emerged as one of the most creative consulting and IT companies in India. LC is the author of Nihilent’s patented change management framework MC³.

LC is a Fellow of The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) and Computer Society of India (CSI), and a certified Due Diligence Professional (CDDP). He scripted and produced the movie ‘Banaras, A mystic love story. He continues to be a student of ontology and epistemology.

Minoo D Dastur
President & COO
Minoo D Dastur, a Chartered Management Consultant with post-graduation in BusinessManagement, is a Co-founder of Nihilent. He is President and COO and serves as an Executive Director on Nihilent’s minoo2global board.
As with most senior executives in the Nihilent management team, he also consults at a strategic level on issues such as strategy implementation, balanced scorecards, metrics and measurement, organizational alignment, performance management, apart from being actively involved in reviewing and managing the large software delivery projects. He divides his time between general management functions and direct involvement in specific projects. He has a keen interest in continually re-evaluating software and services delivery as an engineering science and has been deeply involved in evolving a flexible delivery model which adapts best practice in each discipline to unique user requirements while adhering to the strictest principles of quality management. His driving passion is the thirst for excellence and innovation that is the common thread amongst all Nihilentians and powers Nihilent’ s ability to produce a delivery model that evolves, over time, for each client and provides the client with a uniquely tailored fit.

Beginning his career in the Information Systems industry in 1983, he has worked in most aspects of the systems development and consulting businesses and was intimately involved in the management and execution of several mega-projects. Between 1986 and 2000, Minoo had an extremely successful stint with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He headed the company’s Corporate Banking Group and was a key player in the evolution of the banking and financial services business. In the mid-nineties he established TCS’s operations in South Africa and negotiated a joint venture with South Africa’s most active IT business group – DIDATA, which has a global footprint. He was also responsible for establishing the Corporate Marketing group for TCS.

Minoo has served as the National General Secretary of the Institute of Management Consultants India and has also been an international referee. He is an active member of the IEEE, the ACM, the BMA, the CSI, and similar associations and is closely involved in steering the prestigious Indian e-Governance awards jointly with the CSI. He is also the Chairman of the Indo-South African Chamber in India.

B. Ravi Teja
Vice President – Global Consulting Businesses

Ravi is an Electronics Engineer from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and an MBA from School of Management, IIT Bombay with specialization in Manufacturing and Technology Management.

Ravi Teja, VP at NihilentHe is Vice President of Nihilent’s global consulting businesses and country head for the company’s India operations. He has over 20 years of consulting experience and heads the company’s Enterprise Transformation Group. His team provides consulting services to global organizations in the areas of Strategy Execution, eGovernance, Learning, Innovation, Knowledge and Performance Management.

Ravi has led a number of projects worldwide at State Bank of India, Sasol, Tata Teleservices, GE, Kellogg, Nedbank, Barclays Bank, South African Revenue Services among others in the USA, UK, Japan, South Africa and India. Ravi has helped organizations to execute their strategy using tools such as Balanced Scorecard, Process Redesign, ERP, CRM, CAD/CAM and GIS using IT products such as Siebel, SAP, Microsoft and Intergraph.

He has spoken at various management conferences around the world such as Knowledge Management Africa, Institute of Management Consultants of India, Bombay Chambers, Computer Society of India, etc. He has taught Knowledge Management at the WITS Business School in South Africa.

He is a student of ontology and has completed his curriculum for living from Landmark Education.


Abhay Y Ghate
Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Abhay holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune and a Master’s degree in Technology specializing in Production Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry covering complete spectrum of activities in Software Development. Besides, he has special skills in Project Management, Requirement Engineering and Software Development Methodologies.

As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for ensuring continuous enhancement in the technical competence of Nihilent and the alignment to market needs in addition to assuring deployment of a technical infrastructure in delivery management.

Abhay has executed technology intensive projects for clients like Dimension Data, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft Corporation, Delphi, Information Business Solution, Scottish Life Assurance Company, Nedbank, Capital Bank, Tandem Computers, Cyanides and Chemicals in various countries including USA, UK, Germany, Australia and South Africa.

Jay Shah
Sr. Assoc. Vice President and Head – ERP Practice

jay1Jay brings over 25 years of experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Life-sciences. Jay heads the Enterprise Applications practice which comprises of SAP, Oracle and SAGE. Having headed a SAP team of over 450 consultants as well as a large BI team, he brings over 10 years of international experience working with companies such as Capgemini and delivering projects with Phillip Morris, Warner Home Video, Levi Strauss, Monsanto and more. Jay also heads the Global Solutioning team leading Nihilent’s initiative of developing and launching new offerings in Banking, Insurance, Retail and Media. He is additionally tasked with the P&L responsibility for an acquired entity. His interests are in Enterprise Risk Management including GRC and Business Analytics & Big Data.

He has published papers in the Operations research society of America, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and presented at SAP forums. Jay has a Masters degree in Operations Management and a Masters degree in Engineering Mechanics, both form Michigan Tech, USA.
